Diamond cutting is a specialist finish that is applied to alloy wheels. Instead of a painted surface, the alloy is precision cut – usually with a diamond tipped cutter (hence the name) – and then lacquered. This process creates a highly polished/shiny appearance.
The downside of this type of finish is that over time the lacquer can break down and water staining/damage can occur to your alloy wheels. Also it means you can’t undertake your usual alloy wheel refurbishment if you wish to retain the unique diamond cut finish.

Brand New Mobile Diamond Cut Alloy Repair
We can now offer one, if not the only, mobile diamond cut alloy wheel repair & refurbishment service in Hampshire. This means we will come to you and with our state of the art mobile diamond cut alloy wheel repair system we can restore your diamond cut alloy wheel to “as new” condition.
As part of our repair and refurbishment process we will finish your newly diamond cut alloy wheel with a protective layer of clear lacquer to help maintain and protect your newly diamond cut alloy wheel.
Depending on how may times the wheel has already been re-diamond cut, sometimes you may not have enough original alloy to make another diamond cut finish. Alternatively you can re-create the finish via paint and protecting your alloy wheel and maintaining its appearance.
The below is a previously diamond cut alloy wheel that has then been finished with paint and lacquer.
